The projector can be used in a variety of ways:
- The reference projector is displayed in the autopilot and shows the current topic to the participants.
- You can create multiple projectors that display different aspects, e.g. on one projector the current motion and on the second the list of speakers. This is especially helpful for presences/hybrid events.
- The signal from individual projectors can be inserted into a video conference via screen transmission or displayed on an external screen.
Create and edit projector
Via the menu tab > Projector you can create a new projector (
in the upper right corner) or edit an existing projector (pencil icon).
The projector offers a high degree of customization options:
- Size and resolution: you can choose between different standard formats or use a custom aspect ratio and adjust the resolution of the projector.
- Displayed data: you can choose to display the header/footer, event title, logo and clock. You can customize the displayed data in the > Settings under > General (event name, date, location).
- Projection defaults: You can select for which elements proejection is possible on this projector (e.g. motions, agenda, topics, current speaker list, etc.).
- Colors: You can customize the colors of each element on the projector.
- Reference projector: You can select a projector as a reference projector, which will be displayed in the autopilot. In the overview you can do this via the star or in the detailed view of a projector via the 3-point menu at the top right.
In the detailed view of a projector (menu tab open > projector and then click on a projector) you can make further settings:
Queue & previous slides
Instead of manually showing each topic/choice/proposal individually in the projector, you have the option to create a queue. You can then click through elements during the event by clicking on "next".
You can also jump back to the last slides and view the list of previous slides in the drop-down menu on the right side in the detailed view of the projector.
Countdowns
You can set a countdown that is linked to the speaker list. In the "Countdowns" drop-down menu, you can choose > Add countdown and specify the name and time individually.
By selecting this icon
you can open the projection dialog and choose whether the countdown should be displayed as a traffic light, only the countdown, a combination of both or in full screen.
As soon as the speech of the current speaker is started, the countdown also starts. If the entered time is exceeded, the display goes into minus and turns red and then counts up again. However, the speech is not stopped automatically.
The countdown can also be started manually.
Messages
In the drop-down menu > Messages on the right side, you can add messages that can be displayed in the projector or added to the queue.
You can use this, for example, to communicate until when the session will continue after a break.
Current list of speakers
The current list of speakers or current speakers can be displayed in the projector in three ways:
- Overlay: The first 4-5 persons on the speaker list are listed via the overlay and the current speaker is highlighted as soon as the speech contribution is started by the play button ▶
- Chyron: In the chyron, only the current speaker is displayed in the projector as soon as the speech on the speaker list is started with the play button ▶
- Slide: If you want to use several projectors, you can show the speaker list as a "slide" and use this projector only for the list of speakers.
Zoom and Scrolling
In the detail view, you can find two more functions below the projector:
- Zoom: By selecting the magnifiers with the plus/minus, you can zoom in/out the display of the projector.
- Scroll: With the arrows you have the possibility to scroll through the text on the projector. You can do this either per line or in large increments. The scroll function does not work for displayed files (e.g. PDF/JPG/PNG).
Both functions can also be reset to the original setting.
