Kontact for MacOSX

WARNING:
This beta software release is for experienced users 
who want to help testing and development of KDE Kontact enterprise4
(a native Kolab Client). It is _not_ recommended for production use,
but only for testing! Keep a backup of your precious data!

KDE Kontact is Free Software under various copyrights and licenses,
for details see the files coming with the distributions and the sources.
Note that if you distribute the binaries, you MUST also distribute 
the corresponding sources with it.

Kontact-for-MacOSX_20081119.zip contains:

 * KontactAndKDELibraries.mpkg
   A full installer with all packages for KDE Kontact on MacOS,
   including KDE prerequisite libraries and QT 4.4
   (You get a list of all included packages if you run 
   the installer.)
 
 * pinentry-qt4
   binary, build against the Qt from the installer, which can be 
   dropped anywhere in the path to make crypto work for Kontact 
   with the gnupg from the KDE prereqs.
   -> Only important if you want to use crypto with Kontact.


Kontact-for-MacOSX_20081119-src.zip contains the source 
tarballs of the binary packages.


Installation:
-------------
 1. Unzip Kontact-for-MacOSX_20081119.zip
 
 2. Double click on KontactAndKDELibraries.mpkg installer and
    follow the instructions. 

    IMPORTANT: You have to reboot after installation before you run Kontact!

 3. Copy pinentry-qt4 to (only for crypto):
      /opt/kde4-deps/bin 

 4. Set execute permits for pinentry-qt4 (only for crypto):
      sudo chmod a+x /opt/kde4-deps/bin/pinentry-qt4


Setup:
------
 1. Configure your Kolab Account with Kolabwizard, within Terminal:
     open /opt/kde4/bin/kolabwizard.app

 2. Only for crypto:
    Add line to ~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf (create file if not available):
      pinentry-program /opt/kde4-deps/bin/pinentry-qt4


Run:
----
 1. Open Terminal

 2. Start GPG-Agent (only for crypto):
     cd /opt/kde4-deps/bin/
     eval `./gpg-agent --daemon`

 3. Start Kontact
     open /opt/kde4/bin/kontact.app
